Dreams? Aspirations?

This is going to sound very right wing of me, but I'm actually speaking on a general level here. Obama keeps telling everyone that singles making over $200,000 and couples making over $250,000 are going to pay for ... just about everything. He has his reasons, but all this is saying to me is that I should strive to make under $200,000 or else. That kind of puts a damper on those aspirations to work hard and do well and make that kind of money. You lose that level of incentive. I understand there are those out there that don't work as 'hard' yet make millions. But there are also a ton of people out there that have earned their money. And now they're going to be punished for it? It's hard for me to swallow.

Note: I don't make that kind of money (obviously, I'm a college student) and neither does my family. So I'm not being just a whiny rich kid.
