Lists have rekindled my relationship with Twitter. Not that the relationship was suffering, but you know when you’re dating someone and things are kind of at a stalemate for a little while? Then something happens and all of a sudden you’re super crazy about them all over again?? That’s what I’m talking about.
The sole reason I ever wanted to use TweetDeck was to create groups/lists of the Tweeps I follow. I downloaded it and ended up uninstalling because it made my computer drag. Plus I was only allowed to make so many lists anyway. I went back to daily Twitter life hoping I didn’t miss anything important among the thousands of tweets that ran through my feed everyday.
Then Twitter came to my rescue.
I follow a bunch of different people who share the same interests as me: hockey fans, PR pros, social media peeps, fashionistas, athletes, celebs, Boston restaurants & locations, etc. It makes it so, so, SO much easier to keep track of them now with Twitter Lists. I’m loving it. Now if @tdefren says something insightful or if @spencerpratt says something ludicrous I won’t miss it!
The only thing that would complete my love is if somehow my Twitter lists can be integrated into the Twitter apps I use: Tweetie (at work on my Mac) and Twhirl (on my home PC). Please?!
