The New York Times wrote piece today on reactions to the selling of Anheuser-Busch to InBev.
By some of the employees' reactions, it seems as if Anheuser-Busch didn't do a very good job with their internal communications.
Dave Liszewski, an employee who has been with the company for 30 years, said: “It took everybody by surprise. They promised us this wouldn’t happen.”
But it did. I would hope that the King of Beers filled all their employees in before the sale went public. Internal communications are a big part of a company's success. If employees feel like they were betrayed, or if they didn't see something this big coming, it's a huge misstep.
